Excerpt from Feed the Fire: Seduction in Memory Grove Series (Book Three)
“Come here. Let’s start over.” He opened his arms to her. His muscular biceps flexed and hardened and she wanted him to envelop her and be her refuge.
“I’m so tired, Cade.” She crawled to him and he lifted her into his lap. Olivia curled up against him. “I’m tired of being scared. I don’t want to be broken anymore.”
He stroked her hair and kissed the top of her head. “I know. I wish I could erase it all.” He tipped her chin up and kissed her lips just as the rain began to fall.
The light patter of the drops on the leaves and canopy above created a hypnotic melody and she adjusted herself, straddling his lap. The hem of her skirt gathered at the top of her thighs and the roughness of his jeans scraped against her panties.
“I’m not afraid of you. Fix me, Cade,” she whispered, looking into his eyes. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she pressed against him.
“I want to. I’ll try.”
She removed her dress and tossed it aside and
tugged at his t-shirt.
He pulled it over his head and dropped it beside her dress.
She reached for the snap on his jeans and he lifted her off him long enough to kick them off.
His calloused hands slid up the front of her bare thighs and over her hips. They paused, sitting on the natural curve of her body as if contemplating their path, mapping their route.
She leaned in to kiss him, nibbling his lower lip.
His hands trailed up her back, finding the clasp of her bra and releasing it. His fingers slipped the straps down her arms and the garment dropped to her lap. One strong hand cupped her breast, weighing it. He strummed his knuckles over her pink nipple, coaxing it to a hard pebble.
She moaned into his mouth.
He broke from the kiss and lowered his head to her chest, rubbing his cheek against her breast. The slide of his face over the sensitive peak provoked a response from the even more sensitive peak inside her panties. When he circled her nipple with his lips and touched his tongue to her, she tensed involuntarily. The sensation was so strong, so good.
“Are you okay?”
“Yes,” she whimpered. “Yes.”
She rose up and he pulled her panties down, his hands slowly gliding down her legs. His touch was strong yet tender and melted away the fear. His hand cupped her and she pushed against it, encouraging him. She wanted to feel some part of him inside her...
